The Grandeur that was. If i could only have a month of vacation leave, i would choose Italy. Italy is one of those places in my fairy tale book where i pictured La vita รจ bella. I imagined myself walking in the cobblestoned narrow alleys going to the mercato to get the freshest italian meat in one hand and a slab of cheese in another, with fresh linguini and a bottle of wine in a woven basket. This time, I was so excited to take a week-long trip to my dream place. But first, Em and I have to make a stop to the Roma Capitale, to pay our respects to the greatest city of its time. The streets of Rome itself is a museum. Everywhere you turn your head you can see bits and pieces of history and can just imagine how it was before when all these people in their togas and tunics walk around the city.
